Contributor Biography: Elyse Brazel
Elyse Brazel is a a graduate student working towards a degree in indigenous and inter-religious studies at the Vancouver School of Theology, and is also interested in art and poetry. She wrote this poem about the alternative narrative we can draw from the wells of our religious traditions and how to use our prophetic imagination to creatively engage with the issues in our world. It’s called “The Stories We Choose To Live Into.”
